Reverting Your Installation

So you liked the capabilities of the latest WIP, but you weren't ready to spend the money when it was released? The steps here explain how you can revert your installation to the previous version of Scan&Solve.

Step 1: Uninstall Scan&Solve 2014

  1. Browse to the installation folder for SnS 2014 and run unins000.exe. The default installation location is C:\Program Files\Scan&Solve
  2. Delete any remaining files from the installation folder that may have been missed by the un-installer.

Step 2: Install Scan&Solve v1.6.x

  1. Download the installer for Scan&Solve v1.6.x from here: [http://www.intact-solutions.com/sns_alternate/]
  2. Run the installer to install the Scan&Solve v1.6.x plug-in.

Step 3: Install License

  1. In Rhino, run the SnSActivate command and enter your original activation key. The plug-in will contact the Intact Solutions server to install your original license.
  2. Enjoy using the old version Scan&Solve!
