We’re forming a brand new team to build a platform that will fundamentally change the simulation industry. There are still many unanswered questions, and we are looking for talented engineers to solve these challenges with us. We are looking for a highly-skilled Ruby Developer to lead and shape our company’s technology and scale our cloud presence. Our stack includes Ruby, Rails, Postgres, WebGL and THREE.js operating within the Heroku + Ironworker ecosystem.

Specific Qualifications
- Rails Expert – we’re looking for extensive experience in software engineering in a Ruby on Rails environment
- Experience building applications with bi-directional client-server interaction
- Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (Heroku, Ironworker, etc.)
- BS, MS, or PhD in CS, engineering, or closely related experience
- Experience using Git or other source control
- Experience using computer-aided-design tools (Rhino3D, Solidworks, etc.) a plus
Responsibilities
- Participate in definition of software architectures
- Participate in development and documentation of specifications
- Participate in design of UI/UX
- Assist in implementation matching developed specifications
- Implement and test to specification
