Pick Face Block

PickFace Block

The PickFace block in Intact.Simulation for Grasshopper allows users to select faces of b-reps in Rhino for downstream application. This is particularly useful for selecting faces for application of boundary conditions.

The PickFace block has one input:

  • list of b-reps from which faces may be selected

The PickFace block has one output:

  • list of selected faces (trimmed surfaces)

Right-click on the PickFace block to bring up the block menu. Choose Select faces… to select faces in Rhino from the input b-reps. Clear Selection will clear the list of selected faces.
