Thermal Body Load

Thermal Body Loads are heat sources that are distributed over a volume. An electronic component generating heat is an example.

Body Heat Flux

A constant “body heat flux” load is applied when uniform heat is generated all over the volume.

Body heat flux has 2 inputs

  • C: the components which are producing heat flux
  • Qv: the magnitude of the body heat flux
