Intact.Simulation ( for Rhino 8 only) supports automation capabilities. The simulation will run automatically when any input to the solver changes.

Variable Geometry Heat Sink Case Study demonstrates how to simulate heat transfer of a heat sink as the number of fins are adjusted.

A quick snapshot of how you can use this to do rapid design studies.

You can switch the solver modes between “Auto” and “Manual” depending on if you want every parameter update to run simulation. It is suggested to leave the solver mode on manual while first setting up a problem and only switching to auto when multiple different inputs are to be tested or compared.
